iPhone 4.1版~(from DEV-TEAM)

It’s a trap!

Today you’ll likely start seeing iTunes innocently offer you a new version of iOS…version 4.1.  Don’t accept it…it’s a trap!

This time of year there are lots of new iPhone owners, and not everybody knows that accepting new iOS updates is the surest way to lose your jailbreak and/or unlock.  While those of you who have Cydia or TinyUmbrella backups of your FW hashes will always be able to get back to 4.0.1 if you make this mistake, this doesn’t hold for unlockers. There’s currently no known way to revert your baseband — if you update your baseband you’ll lose the ultrasn0w unlock, possible forever.

Please stay away from this 4.1 release until a safe jailbreak procedure (which also preserves ultrasn0w) is developed and released.

P.S.  There are a tiny number of iPhone3G owners who can revert their basebands due to a flaw in very early bootloaders…you will already know if you fit in this category!

New York Bikes with Style

Just click on the Bicycles link below if you want to see more stylish men and women from around the world on bikes.

Just for the record, I do wear my helmet when I ride a bike If I lived on the quite streets of Park Slope, Brooklyn I might not but the traffic in the city is just too crazy.

Instead of trying to copy the very chic Europeans bikers I think we (Americans) should do what we are good at - and that is Sporty/Tech.

I would love to see a sleek young lady in a little black jersey dressed tied-up on one leg, on an equally sleek black mountain bike wearing some kinda of silver reflective sash or form fitted vest (but really well-designed) and reflective wristbands, Raybans, and some sleek, form-fit mountain climbing shoes (those really tiny ones with the nubby soles) or even heels (like that lady I shot in Paris) and a cool racing helmet.

Imagine mixing Polo Sport with Comme Des Garçons - now that would look cool with really techy bike gear.

We should have a contest on who can submit the best photo of their Chic/Tech bike look.

Maybe we can find a cool sponsor to throw in a prize.

This kinda of small reflective vest could be really chic if designed correctly - for womens maybe add more mesh on the sides so it is not so hot in the summer and a racer back

Comme des Garçons, French for "like boys", is a Japanese fashion label headed by Rei Kawakubo, who is also its sole owner.
A racerback is a type of women's swimsuit design common today among competitive swimwear and incorporated into some types of women's clothing. The top-back of the swimsuit is not covered to provide flexibility and movement of the arms during swimming.

Think, Rethink, Challenge Yourself-

Think, Rethink, Challenge Yourself
By Miles Patrick Yohnke (Canada)
Between 2006 and 2009 Canadian writer Miles Patrick Yohnke wrote many pieces and among them were these three. With a foreword by Mike Murphy.
Translated by Bluebluelion

Foreword by Mike Murphy
墨非
"Drawing from his own personal challenges in life, Miles Patrick Yohnke has been teaching others along his journey to not accept second best and demand more of themselves in the way they live their lives and treat their fellow man. By speaking to others about his many inner struggles, Miles has been nurturing changes in attitudes and accountability. By demonstrating and teaching his many adaptation and coping mechanisms, to countless people throughout the years, he has been trying to change mainstream mindsets one mind at a time.

He is a tireless advocate for truth and excellence in the arts, film, music, sport, and human interaction. One may ask themselves why would he do this and be so dedicated to these and all their causes? Miles is a very deep thinker and a very spiritual person.
The answers are numerous but the one underlying common thread that weaves his life together is he never wants another to endure the abuse he went through as a child with learning challenges whom was ridiculed. To come to grips with this, he dove deep into human emotion and discovered many of the reasons others ridicule.
Through this learning process, he also uncovered why people act negatively towards themselves and others and began to challenge others and inspire them to look deep into their souls and get in touch with the real person they are, not the person whom media, corporate hypnotics, and greed are trying to keep under control to be spoon-fed worthless values and thus buying into illusional euphoria.

Miles wants people to dig deep into their being. To question who they are and what is their purpose in life. By doing so they will be on the road to true self-worth which will help to shape the world into a better place. This in turn will help them achieve their goals both personally and professionally. This covers love, family, career, and most of all hope. Hope for so many lost souls who are so much in need of self-discovery.

If there is one thing that Miles would be proud of as an accomplishment or as a legacy, it would be that he inspired people to think and that he made his parents proud by leading a useful life by serving others. Please enjoy these three pieces he has written and let these challenge you to be a better person. Thank you!"--- Mike Murphy

Inner Self (Demanding More From One's Self)
By Miles Patrick Yohnke© 2006, 2010 All Rights Reserved.
In my life I've met many a person, many an artist. Unfortunately most never reach their goals. I asked myself why? Over the years I have been watching, studying, and analyzing how it is that some people make it and others don't.

One of the reasons I believe some achieve their goals is their inner self.

The people I've been privileged to watch succeed have an intensity about them. They demand everything from themselves. They show up every day, in fact every moment, and they are accountable to themselves. Everything they do has a hard statement, and they know when to stop. Very impressive.

I asked an artist recently why he wasn't where he wanted to be. His reply was, "It seems I want to learn, maybe you might say that learning was what I really wanted to do, more than achieve."

We have to stop telling people what we are going to do, what we have not yet accomplished, and tell them instead what we have accomplished. Only in this way can we be accountable for our actions. I am not accountable for achievements I have not yet reached, but I am what I have accomplished.

What steps are you going to take today to achieve?

Human Cloning
By Miles Patrick Yohnke© 2006, 2010 All Rights Reserved.
複製人
I'm afraid that human cloning is alive in today's society.

Look around; look at people. Most have the same haircuts, the same hair colors, the same style clothes. We have groups like the punk crowd, the college people, that so-called alternative group. We have your yuppie SUV business people that go to the happening places, have I missed anyone? My goal isn't to offend anyone, but simply bring attention. If you really look, not many have one. They look at media (TV, print) they walk down the street and more or less their life is bought off the rack.

The reason I write this. As an artist, it's frustrating to see the same thing over and over and then be told by these people that "I'm an original person"... please! I'm afraid most aren't. To be original in the dictionary means "never having been done before; new; novel; inventive". I see very few people in this category. Why is this important?

God made us each unique in our own special way. It would be a great shame to be the same, don't you think?

As Doug Floyd said, "You don't get harmony when everybody sings the same note."

John Cale, co-founder of the Velvet Underground, and one of our great thinkers said, "The only reason we wore sunglasses onstage was because we couldn't stand the sight of the audience."

The greatest pride lies in giving it all we have each day. All around us is inspiration and endless supply of material and resources. We need to live our lives intoxicating the landscape, not living with borders.

Everything Is Wrong
By Miles Patrick Yohnke© 2009, 2010 All Rights Reserved.
"Technology is taking the human race on a reckless ride to nowhere."- Ted Kaczynki, A.K.A. The Unabomber

"It has become appallingly clear that our technology has outgrown our humanity."- Albert Einstein

Everything is wrong, to me these moments are unbearable, we've lost most of our self value, and heart to heart we can speak no longer,

We used to lose ourselves in books; we could lose ourselves to our imaginations, now we barricade our lives in facebook, the lost threads of our own fabrication,

This is another generation, a lost generation, we have become fragments of what we were, no longer able to manage one's self, on the wrong path to question did not occur,

When or where did we lose our way, we stare at our cellphone screens lost in the moment, not living for the present just lost in all our torment, lost so lost and waiting to be needed, liked, or maybe loved,

We seek to speak thru our devices, no longer face to face, now we hide in cyberspace, is this where all the truth is,

Technology seems to rule this land, we hide under our own skin, longing for another to undress, undress the honest spirit that lies within,

Everything is wrong, where has our compassion gone, lost so lost and ever searching, to find a place where we belong.

Playing For Change/ On Love/ Madrid

Mr. Marley once told us:

"Say you just can't live in that negative way, If you know what I mean, make way for that positive day".

Finding something positive to inspire us in life is always better with the help of music, and today we
are sharing with all of you one of greatest moments in Playing For Change's history. Late last year we
were able to bring the Playing For Change Band and friends to Madrid for a concert that united musicians
across the globe. Today's video is their performance of "One Love" LIVE! This is your family, playing a
song for you, so we can all feel the inspiration and make our word better one heart at a time. Please also
go back to our website and watch Episode 3, our original video of "One Love" performed as one of our first
Songs Around the World. Let's get together and feel all right. The time is now to unite together as a human race.
